Responsibilities of Editors
Editors are expected to:
- Ensure that every manuscript receives an objective and unbiased evaluation.
- Select qualified reviewers with expertise relevant to the submitted manuscript.
- Maintain confidentiality throughout the editorial and peer-review process.
- Make editorial decisions based solely on the scientific merit, originality, significance, and clarity of the manuscript.
- Avoid discrimination based on nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, institutional affiliation, or political beliefs.
- Handle manuscripts in a timely manner.
- Promote integrity and ethical publishing practices.
- Identify and address potential ethical concerns, including plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, image manipulation, and authorship disputes.
Editorial Decision Making
Editors make publication decisions after carefully considering:
- Reviewer comments

- Technical correctness

- Relevance to the journal's scope
- Compliance with ethical standards
The Editor-in-Chief retains final authority over all publication decisions.
Confidentiality
Editors must not disclose information regarding submitted manuscripts to anyone other than:
- Authors
- Assigned reviewers
- Editorial staff
- Publisher (where necessary)
Unpublished information must never be used for personal research or professional advantage.
