Conflict of Interest Policy
The Journal of Robotics and Intelligent Systems is committed to ensuring transparency and integrity throughout the editorial and peer-review process.
A conflict of interest exists when professional, financial, institutional, or personal relationships could influence—or appear to influence—the objective evaluation of a manuscript.
Authors
Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest that may have influenced:
- Study design
- Data collection
- Data analysis
- Interpretation of results
- Funding
- Manuscript preparation
If no conflicts exist, authors should state:
The authors declare that they have no conflict of interest.
Reviewers
Reviewers should decline invitations if they have:
- Financial interests
- Personal relationships
- Institutional collaborations
- Competitive relationships
- Any circumstance that could compromise objectivity
Reviewers must immediately inform the editor if a conflict becomes apparent during the review process.
Editors
Editors must not manage manuscripts in which they have:
- Personal involvement
- Financial interests
- Institutional conflicts
- Collaborative relationships with the authors
Such manuscripts will be assigned to another qualified editor.
Publisher
The publisher supports editorial independence and does not interfere with editorial decisions.
