Author Guidelines

The Journal of Robotics and Intelligent Systems (JRIS) welcomes the submission of original, high-quality research that advances robotics, intelligent systems, automation, artificial intelligence, and related interdisciplinary fields. Manuscripts submitted to the journal must present original work that has not been previously published and is not under consideration by another journal or conference.

Before submitting a manuscript, authors are encouraged to carefully review the Aims and Scope of the journal to ensure that their work is appropriate for consideration. All submissions undergo an initial editorial assessment to evaluate their relevance, originality, scientific quality, and compliance with the journal's submission requirements. Manuscripts that successfully pass this initial evaluation are sent for double-blind peer review by at least two independent experts.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that all submitted work complies with the journal's publication ethics and research integrity policies. Where applicable, manuscripts involving human participants, animals, or other regulated research must include evidence of approval from the appropriate ethics committee. Authors are also responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material, including figures, tables, photographs, datasets, or other third-party content.

To facilitate efficient editorial processing, authors should ensure that manuscripts:

  • Follow the official JRIS Manuscript Template.
  • Comply with the journal's formatting requirements.
  • Include a clear and informative title.
  • Provide a structured abstract and relevant keywords.
  • Present original research with appropriate scientific rigor.
  • Include complete and accurately formatted references.
  • Are written in clear, professional English.
  • Have been carefully proofread before submission.

Authors should also complete the Submission Checklist before submitting their manuscript.

Detailed information regarding manuscript preparation, formatting requirements, reference style, ethical standards, copyright, licensing, and submission procedures is available in the Author Guidelines and related journal policies.

The editorial office is committed to providing authors with a fair, transparent, and timely editorial process while maintaining the highest standards of scholarly publishing and research integrity.
