Abstract

The rapid evolution of robotics, intelligent systems, and autonomous technologies has reinforced the need for rigorous, accessible, and timely scientific publishing. The Journal of Robotics and Intelligent Systems (JRIS) is launched as an international, peer-reviewed, open-access platform for original research, review articles, technical notes, and case studies across robotics and intelligent systems. JRIS is committed to rigorous double-blind peer review, publication ethics, and editorial transparency. The journal particularly emphasizes the intersection of robotics, intelligent decision-making, autonomous systems, and real-world deployment. As an open-access journal, JRIS provides unrestricted global access to published research. To encourage early participation and recognize the trust of the founding research community, all article processing charges for the inaugural issue are waived. This editorial outlines the journal's scope, peer review philosophy, and ethical commitments and invites the global research community to advance robotics and intelligent technologies through JRIS.

Dr. Ahmed Khalid Ahmed Asinger

Ahmed Khalid Ahmed Asinger is a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering, College of Engineering, Salahaddin University-Erbil, Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer and Control Engineering with a specialization in Industrial Automation and Robotics. His research interests include robotics, industrial automation, intelligent control, robotic manipulation and grippers, autonomous systems, and intelligent robotic applications.
